I can't tell if my car is really blue or green sometimes. When it gets dirty it starts to turn purple. For some reason the car is invisable to most people when they are behind the wheel and turning lft in front or next to me. It's like I'm not even there. Is this a normal dark color problem? I've been driving white cars and trucks for 20 years and this doesn't happen in them. anyway. great looking car.

And that's why it's a beautiful color!

I've not heard anyone complain about variants of blue becoming "invisible," that usually applies to what we called "Hit-Me BEIGE." Maybe, just maybe, when it's changing from blue to green, for just a moment, it becomes...

Thanks!

Steve...I missed this post but noticed the new car in your signature line, so I went searching. Nice find. I can't wait to get the story on it and see it in person. Will you be bringing in to TWS in May? Congrats buddy!

Hey Will,

Thanks. Well it's to be my new track toy, but it probably won't make a track debut until this Fall. I'll be doing a full suspension upgrade and some other goodies over the summer. In fact, I may not even make it to TWS in May. I'm doing the Eagle's Canyon Club race/DE that month and probably won't be able to make both that one and TWS, but I'm holding out hope I can work it out. June, I'm travelling on vacation to Florida, so won't make that TWS DE either. Wife tired of going to the track.

I'm hoping to have it ready for the Sept TWS DE, but I'll be there in at least one of the cars for sure.

Meanwhile this Spring, most of our gang is doing MSR Cresson in April and ECR in May. Any chance you'll make either of those?

Best,

Edit: Looks like I'll be at TWS in May afterall. Work schedule reprieve.

OhioMark, sorry I was going to find out, but it slipped my mind. It's not my hangar, rather the guy I bought the car from. He's a stunt pilot as well as a Porsche driver. I'll ask him next time I see him. Thanks for the compliment.

Call me a freak, but I love the Pasha interior. If only the pattern was on a black background, I might have to do some purchase negotiations. Ew, the Targa leak spots might look really gnarly really soon though.
BTW, if that's a 10 footer, mine must be a 30 footer!
Looks nice.

Nice score Rosco. I saw one like that in Laguna Beach last summer.

Steve, et al,

I have a Euro/US version question. Do all Euro 911s come with side-marker lights on the front fenders behind the front wheels? If so, Steve, whay are yours missing? If not, never mind.

Btw, my version of blue is called heliosblau. It is a darker blue with a hint of grey. Also metallic. Color code 31P (Glasurit)

Don: Yes, Euro version cars come with fender-mounted (behind the front wheels) lights, but they're turn signals - not side markers. This is an odd car because it's got the narrow rear bumper guards (Euro), the blocked-out side markers in the front bumper (Euro), but somebody went to a lot of work to take away the fender-mounted T/S lights - doesn't make sense...

They also went to the trouble of changing the tail lights from the Euro yellow to the USA red.
