Default Fuel Pump runing without motor solved.

After reaidng a few threads about CIS and the fuel pump operation I realized my pump was tuning on with the ignition key/engine off and this should not be happening.

So I swapped the Red relay with a black one and the pump now only operates when the engiine is cranking over and starts, as it should.

I will keep the red relay as a "jumper" for fuel pressure tests etc. when the engine is not required to run but the fuel pump is.

Hopefully this will solve my hard start issue. It fires up at the 1st turn of the key after sitting overnight but takes about 10 seconds of cranking if I let the car sit for about 4-5 hours after the engine has cooled down.

Hot starts are fine.

John
