Post 1981 911SC head studs

As a new member to this forum, I would like to say hello to everyone and I am looking forward to your advice and comments from all those years of 911 ownership.
My previous 911 was a 81 turbo in that gorgeous shimmering silver / platignum colour. I sold her 3 years ago and still pine for that rush. The there was the 1971 911T (ouch) . However I am currently involved with a 81 204 911SC. All the bodywork has been completely sorted as well as suspension, brakes etc. Upon completion and just afetr the MOT, I noticed that phat, phat noise under acceration, esp when cold. Head stud(s) - so I have been told that it is Ok to drive but needs doing. I live in N.Wales, UK - does anyone have contacts who could do this work etc.

Unfortunately, I don't have a referral, but I do have a recommendation - park the car until it can be repaired! Those exhaust gases that you hear escaping are damaging the sealing surface of both the cylinder and head; the more that you drive the more damage ($$$) that there will be...
