Default Classics and Sports Car

For those of us 3.2 ('84 - '89) people there is a nice write up in the January '08issue of Classic and Sports Car. There is a red right hooker, thats U.K speak, on the cover. For those of you who have not read this magazine there is nothing like it. Each month hours of entertainment. No, I don't work for them.

I saw it yesterday when I went to pick up a coule Porsche mags. Flipped through the article brefily and ready a couple pages. Looked pretty good. Might pick it up before we leave for our California trip today.

Hopefully you will coming to SoCal. Just got back from taking Scout dog for walk. I think its 72 degrees, give or take, here at the beach.

HA! You are trying to make the rest of us jealous with your warm, sunny socal weather, but it won't work! I just returned from a 3 mile hike in the woods with my Siberian husky, Rusty. It's 42 degrees. Almost cool enough for a husky

Thanks for the info on the article. I'll try to locate the magazine.

"when I went to pick up a coule Porsche mags."

Where do you go to pick up a Porsche mag? News stand? Speed shop? what am I missing?

Hey Douglas, if you're ever in Santa Monica be sure to walk along the 3rd Street Promenade between Broadway and Arizona - there's an open-air magazine stand that covers about a 1/2 acre!

Shannon: 42 degrees? That's what it is here, but I think that it made it up to about 49 mid-afternoon! Our Shepherd loves it, she only scratches about half as much when it's chilly...

Pete, I'll be in Santa Monica for our national sales meeting at the end of the month. Any other recommendations? I strolled the Promenade last year; cool area. Best, Kevin

Scout wouldn't happen to be a GSMD?

Kevin: It's always nice to walk out to the end of the S.M. Pier, and after you've worked up an appetite there are many decent to great restaurants along Ocean Ave between Colorado and Wilshire. Drive north past Wilshire a few blocks, turn onto San Vicente Blvd. and check out some mind-boggling real estate - be careful, the motor cops with radar are always watching!

Doug, I would love to ... I'm just not positive if I can fit it into what's sure to be a packed agenda ... once I receive the huge e-mail message with all the details, I'll see what I can work out. ~Kevin
