I've heard that it's an old club racer trick for these cars to use the strut brace to pull the shock towers together for more neg camber (since they cannot install camber plates and remain in class). The guy the described it to me said that he pulled the shock towers together (not just the shocks) to the point that the trunk lid would barely close.

i used my strut bar (that i made) to push the towers apart because my camber wouldnt ajust any farther out and my tires were wearing on the inside. I dont know if it acually pushed them out because i havnt checked the alignment since but i think the towers could be moved quite a bit this way

If something is designed to keep objects from moving, it would seem that if it can stop movement, could it not also start movement?
