911 1983 want to add cruise control, I can find the regulating unit on the engine and clutch switch etc but no one seems to have the regualtor tempostat electronic brain 928.617.127.00. All are bad ie fryed. Has anyone done any after market installation
I read in an old Panorama about I guy in Alabama that used a Sears kit and made it work with the Porsche column switch. But Sears no longer sells cruise control aftermarket kits. Any ideas?

 

I have a 1983 911SC that I am converting to track use. I would be willing to part out the whole system to you. It did work last I tried it.
