Nice.

I've always wanted to have a honda powered 911. You know, find an old tub, shove a honda motor in there somehow, and then drive in the winter. I think it would be fun, nice, an realiable.

very cool. congrats on making that happen. i think this is a great alternative to many, which perhaps most did not think was possible.

Sounds better than Porschev.

But what do you call it a Pobaru or a Subapor?

Very cool...I have not been following the build. Is this a EJ20 or EJ25 build?

Love the sound! Does not even sound like the flat4.

Many congrats - Yasin

What year and type of engine did you use. After watching the video, I remember something from over 20yrs ago. I helped a friend remove and refurbish his Subaru engine, I guess that should read that I did it, because my friend really wouldn't know which end of a screwdriver to hold, just say they were mechanically challenged. Back to the engine, I was totally surprised when I got the engine out, I thought to myself, a Japanese version of a VW or Porsche engine, but with a built in water jacket, the engines were very similar, in the way they looked, and worked. Very little difference. This one had blown a head gasket, so I went ahead and freshened up, all replaceable parts that did not need any machine work or bearings. It had done no other damage than the head gasket, it was shut down before any other damage was done. Buttoned everything back up, car ran fine till it was sold about 9yrs later. I really was shocked by how close that engine looked like a VW or Porsche engine. When the new water cooled Porsche engines came along, I wondered if they had gotten some of the water cooled ideas from the Subaru?? It does sound really nice, and it appears to have plenty of power. Good luck with it!! Tony.

Thanks guys. The engine is a flat 6, and the displacement is 3.3 liters. It came out of a 1992 Subaru SVX. Horsepower is 230 stock, so I'm probably just a little over that with the few mods I did to the engine.

Oh, and I think you can call it a Porscharu
