That looks to be in decent shape.
I would pick it up in a heart beat.
You seem to be mechanically inclined so go for it.
Read the seller. Does he seem honest?
Does he know cars?
Go for it if the frame is decent.
It doesn't look bad at all.
You could have that engine compartment clean in hours.
You'll have the engine spinning in a few days.
Do the valves, replace fluids and let her rip.
The worst you can loose is $5k + $500 in fluids.
You can easily sell that on ebay for $5500.
Take a chance, you can end up a winner.
If you decide you don't want it then please post the sellers number.
I'm sure a lot of us here will risk it for such a low pay out.

Good luck.
Dave..

Doesn't look too bad.

What kind of seats are those?

Also, the Clifford alarm pad in the middle of the glove box door looks cheesy. I'd put a new door on the "to do list," if I were you.

It looks like there was something screwed to the right side of the console (phone?). You might be able to have an interior repair company fill the holes and color match the repair, or you can try to find a blue replacement (which might be difficult). A black replacement would be perfectly appropriate, and much easier to find.

Let us know what you do!

Car may also need an alignment. The wheels are straight and the steering wheel is turned. Tires are prolly needing replacement from sitting like that. Seats are awful!!!

Good luck.

In my 25 yrs around P-Cars I have seen incredible deals. Like the big bore 914 that the mechanic said needed a valve job. THis car was totally straight and while it ran ruff it changed its style of roughave to be a valve. It had four Webers, I was certain there was a plugged jet. I offered the guy $1900. SOld it in a year for $4500. Oh yeah, I droive it to a gas station and blew out all the jets on the "bad cylinder". I am no mechanic but I have built some engines and I feel that a leakdown can be done on this SC without it running. If it passes agree on a price IN WRITING if you can get it running. and check all the culprits, fuel filter, fuel distributor etc, spray pattern on the CIS jets., ignition. A CIS sitting for a long time can be problematic if water has built up. Ya havta get it running to check transaxle also. I have seen several running SCs for 3-4.5K THis looks neglected. Oops. Just nopticed 94 K miles. Try to get this pup going. THis car couild run another 200K miles. If you pass, let me know. I could use a project. Too bad it is a targa tho.
