i charge 2 hours labor, and including the oil and filter it works out to $225. that's for a carrera, not a C4.

I just had it done 2 days ago. In Canada I paid about $350.00 after tax. This included Labor, some gasket thing and an oil change. In American money, that would be about $225.00. Hope this helps.

The old/lazy/rich dude I bought the 84 Carrera from was paying $2500 for a valve-adjust and general tune-up. That included a whopping $255 in parts at Champion Motors on Long Island. My eyes popped out when I saw the stack-o-bills he kept. I'm in the wrong business!

I paid about $225 once... just once. After that I started doing it myself. About $45 for gaskets, oil & filter. <img src="graemlins/drink.gif" border="0" alt="[cherrsagai]" />
