Default DFW Porsche Coffee Saturday 12/29?

How about an assembly this Saturday 12/29 @ the Starbuck's on the NE corner of Preston and Frankfort 8:30 or so? It looks like it may be a little brisk, but dry.

Ed,

I'll try to show. I'll see if I can drag my 17 year-old who's visiting from Houston along. Want me to bring my psuedo-Porsche (the Cayenne Turbo) or the real deal - my '79 930? Too bad Tweety is down for a while with a bad third gear. It would be SO MUCH fun to drive THAT CAR on the Tollway and streets of Plano!

Toby:

Either is fine, but I think you already know the answer on what to drive.

Bump a doodle doo.

We've got some 911's, and some 928's coming out.

Ed, is she good to go? Thank you for all your support over the last several months. Your guidance, leadership and guts inspired alot of us to do some really dificult jobs on our cars. Hope your car is better than ever.

Hey Doug,

Thanks for asking; she's getting stronger and stronger-about 150 miles on her. I'm getting on her a bit now, keeping it below 5K, and the powerband definitely feels a bit lower, coming on closer to 3500 as opposed to about 4K before. Can't wait to wind her out and see what topend does.
I'll get some more miles on the next few days.

As far as your kind words, it has been my experience that the online P-car community is second to none. There's no way I'd have attempted to build a 911 engine had there not been men going boldly before me, and without the online support network. Happy New Year!!
