I found a place that sells the oil really cheap but its in the midwest so the shipping overwhelms the price anyway. Is there a vendor anywhere near Southern California? I don't want to pay 20 dollars for shipping when the oil is 35 dollars itself. Please let me know!

I came across these guys in my search: vwparadise.com
Never dealt with them but they list BP products by the case at what seems to be a reasonable price...

...So bottom line is that BRAD PENN is about $15-20 more than the castrol GTX per change and is available for will call with in my normal daily driving. I'll do it just 'cause everyone says so NOT because I read the international battle over initials like PCP or DDT or 'cause it would hold up under increased loads of ICBM's or it's PETA friendly. Let's just find it and use it. the real story is TRE moving.

Naw I have always heard royal purple is good....LNEngineering recommends Royal Purple Max Cycle apparently....too bad its freakin 130 bucks for a case of 12. Also seems kinda strange to be putting motorcycle oil in my car but I guess its all the same.

I'm seriously considering running the Brad Penn semi-syn 20-50 in my new engine permanently. I was going to use it only for break-in and go to Royal Purple or Redline, but I think I may stick with it. Particularly at $4/qt.

4$/quart to buy another 3$/quart to ship it seems. Royal purple is about that price and you can find it at any pep boys I think. Although, nobody has been able to answer my question about it ....namely which one is the right one to buy for an 87 911 that is NOT tracked, and is motorcycle oil ok for a 911? (second question I am guessing the answer is yes).
