964 RSR Alignment No.s
Just wondering if anyone would care to suggest alignment numbers for 964 3.8 RSR. This is a widebody factory race car - but road legal -running 9/11x18 rims and probably 245/285 sticky tyres (but maybe a larger rear tyre will end up being used). It will be used almost exclusively for track days. Any ex-race team experience would be welcomed.
If anyone has an opinion on tyre size then that will also be factored into the mix as a final decision on tyres hasn't been made yet.
BTW, this is a horny, bad-assed car. On its FIA restrictor it makes over 350hp and a screaming sound. Its very, very quick due to very lightweight! Unfortunately its not mine! But I should get to drive it soon.
Thanks,
Richard

Richard,
The tires you will be using will influence the settings you're asking about. Most tire manufacturers have recommendations on the camber range, for example, and tire temps, for best usage. I would expect that camber in the -2 to -3 range would be in order, if not more, again, depending on the tires used. The 3.8 should have the harder rubber suspension fittings with the Weissach effect minimized, so excessive toe won't be called for in the rear.

As its a factory race car, I would be very surprised if it had any rubber in the suspension. I think everything is monoballed. It is only road legal because it has had things like a horn added. So extrapolating from your reply, presumably the rear toe should be very little indeed
If it helps, the tyres will be PZeroCs or Corsas or Dunlop D01Js.
Thanks,
