Default PMO Carbs

Just wondering how you guys felt about the PMO Carb upgrades. I have a 72 911T with a 2.4 in it and need to get my carbs either rebuilt or swap them out with the PMO's. What do you suggfest?

Thanks

only my personal rant

PMOs are extremely accurate in fuel metering. When properly adjusted the EGT differental is extremely low. Usually EGT/power carb differentials are around 120-150F between cylinders. Mine are around 60F. That's better than high end fuel injection. PMOs are a carb dream come true.

Contact Steve Weiner for the buy. Steve is great to work with and will advise on all engine options.

I would also consider a cam up-grade for such an expensive install. Kinda like your engine will be worthy for it to properly benefit from PMOs.

It's a carb eat MFI world.

You don't mention what carbs your car currently has. Pardon any ignorance, but I know Porsche used Solex, Webber and Zeiniths over the years... what are yours? Are the parts in question for yours available? If parts are NLA, then get some PMOs.

huge cost difference between rebuilding yours and getting PMOs

PMOs are great but i dont think the cost would be justifyable esp if your motor is stock-ish

Racer,

I have stock weber 40's. I am about to get the transmission rebuilt so the engine will be pulled and was considering a few more upgrades. For instance big bore kit to bring it up to a 2.7, new stainless exhaust, etc. So I thought I should at least consider the PMO's. What do you think?
