Default Targa Tops

Hi Does anyone know if it possible to buy a hard top for a SC Targa. It is getting close to winter in the UK and I dont like leaving the soft top in the rain.

Thanks

You will need the frame from your existing top. The new top will have to be fixed onto it- no clips like the 'soft' top. Have you looked on Ebay?

Cheers,

Paul.

I'm curious why you feel the original top would not be sufficient. Porsche designed these to be used in a variety of climates and despite being 20+ years old, I've found that my top works just fine, albeit I have a small leak that's due to a seal and/or top alignment issue, not the material of the top itself.

Just my opinion.

My targa top is fine in the winter and does not leak, but this thread reminds me of my wish for 2 features no none seems to make anymore.

1. A clear top like my vette... Saratoga used to make one... but I can't find one...

2. A sliding targa that can be shut quickly without stopping.

Anybody interested in these business opportunities?
