Question about 1982 SC Exhaust
It appears as though the previous owner of my vehicle removed the heat exchangers from the standard exhaust.
This has never been a problem for me since I live in South Florida but I would like to replace this system with headers and a 2 in 2 out exhaust.
Are SSI's still my best bet or could you recommend another option?

What were the heat exchangers replaced with by the po? Wouldn't that have been headers?
I like my SSIs w/Dansk ss 2 in/2 out muffler. Supposedly boosts hp by up to 18-20hp (sure felt like it to me!). I love the sound - will set off car alarms if you want it to but not at all objectionable (to me) when cruising.
