Hmm...let's see. A $400 one way ticket to California, $200 in gas, $100 in hotel rooms, a week off work, and a 9 month old in the back seat for 2200 miles? I had mine shipped for $800 instead.
Atlanta to New Jersey is another story. What's 900 miles?
I used Secure Auto Transport. It was unenclosed and arrived with lots of bugs and road grime, all of which was gone after the first wash.

There are several good shops in NJ for a PPI, I like Autohaus in Chatham, I can also recommend Horseless Carriage to transport. I've shipped several cars from California to NJ with them and have never had a problem. Hope this helps.
