i noticed that my clutch pedal felt harder/stiffer occasionally while driveing so i started paying close attention to it.
what i noticed is that every time i make a right turn the pedal get hard and will stay hard until i make a left turn. After the left turn the pedal is normal until i make another right. this happens everytime, every turn.
any ideas?
what could change by making a right turn?
maybe bad transmission mounts? lets the trans move that little bit causting the cable to rub or bind?

First thing I'd do is get a look ander it at where the cable comes out of the body.
You will see if it is jammed anywhere.
After that I would free one end of the cable and see if it is free to move.
It's a start.

look at your tranny mounts first. no, no, ck. under your pedal cluster first for coins, candy,
earrings you got the picture, then ck the tranny mounts. my friend bent the rod
on the cluster, need total rebuild.
good luck

Both good ideas posted so far. Make sure the clutch cable makes a smooth arc over the axle after it comes out of the tunnel, and rests about an inch from the transmission. My guess is that it's somehow getting snagged on the axle on right turns and somehow gets dislodged on left turns. But, check under the car and under the floorboard for clues.
