'73 911E: Lose the Sepia Brown or Not?

Burning Brakes
When I was collecting '50s Mercedes roadsters all of my peers told me to stay with original colors.
HOWEVER, when I chanced upon one that had been repainted red I found myself driving it much more than the others. Sold it at a better profit than the others, too, and it was in worse mechanical condition from all the hard miles I put on it in the South Florida heat.
I learned to take purist's opinions for the small segment they represent. I no longer drive cars for their aesthetic beauty, but hope you acheive your goal for the project.
By the way, the new Corvette pace car is a similar color to your brown because it contrasts so well against the blacktop.

Dan, The 76 912E I had for so many years was Chocolate Brown. I don't remember the code, but on the Certificate of Authenticity (COA), it said it was chocolate Brown.

Glad to hear your keeping it that color. I think it is a GREAT 70's color and I think you are making the right decision on keeping it the original brown.
