at most 35k for a coupe...if its a 930...then I would have to see it.

the coupe at 35k would have to have extremely low miles and be nearly perfect.

I would prefer a 930 though...did they make 930s in granate green?

thanks,
Jim

[QUOTE=1985ruf;4758581]jon - i know i need to be very patient if I plan to find the right one. I will keep waiting til i find just that one special car.../QUOTE]

That's the right approach, and be sure to search "far & wide". I looked daily for over six months before I found the "right" one several years ago (mine had 46K on her at the time). Just my opinion, but a VERY low mileage car is not necessarily worth waiting for unless you have a special reason. You're not going to get any "additional" guarantees (in fact, probably the opposite) with mileage in the teens, etc. and if you're going to drive it (I sure hope so ), then the "premium value" will vanish anyways. I found mine 500 miles away btw. Good luck!

Jim,

Here is a low mileage black 930 with 26,000 miles on it for a decent price if you could live with a lobster red interior. Most 1984-89 930's with under 50,000 miles seem to be averaging mid 30's and up

Another

Low mileage G-50 Carrera-intersting color

Classic Red Metallic (Cassis, in german), the side photo shows the color better.

Fouund another one (sorry about another post)

83 930 Black/Black - Grey market, correct?

$20,000 with 58,000 miles near Boston

http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/car/472703995.html

Might be a Scam since the asking price is 1/2 of what other turbos are selling for.

John - You have been such a great help! I thank you again...but I would like to stick to the colors in my original post...also I am trying to locate a low miler car.

I did love the coupe out in CT...but its too pricey for 39k miles. I called the owner and $30k is way too much.

Turbo looks like a 100& scam.

Others are nice but looking for 78-89 year models.

Thanks again!

I don't think Sloan is a rip-off. He just deals in a narrow range of cars for a very narrow range of customers. Most of us are not among them - so? Anyway, rather than getting a dubious Turbo at a "great" price, I'd focus on a clean & proper 911 w/ good history, rate condition above low mileage, even be willing to pay a bit above market. Turbos tend to cost more down the road than NA - esp if they see a lot of road. Be patient but jump the instant you see exactly what meets your criteria.
