Stolen '87 Targa
Hello all-
I am a new user of Rennlist. I had a card placed on my windsheild by member Don 944 LA- thanks Don- Sorry for the off-topic addition here- it has taken me a while to figure out how to use the site!
Take a look at my '87 Targa 3.2. 36K miles all original- paint, etc. In great condition.
It was stolen from my driveway- so if you see anyone trying to sell this- please let me know- and alert the cops! I have been scouring various websites- and have to say I have not seen another Silver '87 targa for sale across the US- so this configuration in this condition is very rare.
I appreciate you all looking out- and as a new user of Rennlist I am happy to see so many other enthusiasts out there- It is a great community.
I am not sure how to keep track of these threads as a newbie- but am hoping someone will respond.
Thanks-

W wouldn't be concerned about the mileage vs. the condition.history.
I know a local gut who purchased a beautiful 1987 930 with about 38,000miles on it. All went well with the PPI.
6 months later motor starts leaking like crazy and after a $15,000 rebuild (performed by himself) it is back on the road as a daily driver.

"In the teens or even lower miles..." I looked for a long time to find my '89 with 53k on it. If you are serious about such low mileage on a 911, you may want to check the concours circuit or the infamous Sultan of Brunei.

SLOAN is a rip off! Someone who has tons of money to throw away can go to him...I dont have any to throw away. Sorry I just honestly think the prices are ridiculous.
Thanks for the suggestion though as I do appreciate your response.
