Howdy,
Considering a sportmatic 911 (81 SC) but am concerned that in the long run I may change my mind. This car appears perfect in every other way, condition, choice of colour, etc... Just not sure about the lack of clutch long term as I said before.
So to the question - how difficult and costly is a manual swap if I were to change my mind 12months later?

Although I've never seen one, and I don't know of any that are in the U.S., there is a designation in the Porsche Spec book to identify an RoW Sporto (925/16). What's interesting is that this designation appears for 1980 models, but not '81s. If you can, post the car's VIN, let's make sure that it's an '81, and how early in the production run was it built.
