Post SSI's and clutch helper spring

I am having problems with putting on my clutch helper spring with the SSI's. I dont know if I an not seeing well upside down looking at pictures or what. Will the two work together or am I just having a bad mechanical day. This is my first experience with this spring as this is a newer transmission than what I had. Thanks,
John

I had to bend the outer flange of the SSI's slightly on mine when I installed them Look at the very right edge in this picture - you can just make out the small bend.

No, you're not having a bad day! You have to bend or grind a little metal off that one spot on the SSI's that causes interferance. That's how I made mine fit.
