Great looking car. I hope you are ready for black paint. I had a black Range Rover- looked great when it was clean, but what a nightmare to keep up! Have you posted pics on the Pelican forum yet?

I agree, black cars are hard to keep clean, and did give me pause before i bought this. i had a black DD about 17 years ago and i SWORE i'd never do it again, even though i find nothing more beautiful than a clean, polished black car.

hopefully since this is a sunny day car to stomp around in, it won't be too burdensome.

There is just nothing like a clean no-wing 911 in black, and that is the most gorgeous one I have EVER seen!

Broke my foot have not been able to drive mine for 3 weeks now

I just look at it sitting in the garage. Bummer.

Great looking '87! Much luck and happy miles with it. Don't worry about hood/deck shocks--they're considered "consumables" like the oil filter and wiper blades (first things I replaced when I got my '85)
