Fortunately, the overtightened lugs were on a Jetta. I do the same as Dan, when the 911 needs shoe work (now!), the tires go, the car stays home. Also, just to be absolutely sure that everyone understands, the trouble that I had in Santa Monica was not at Wheel Enhancement, who used to be in SM years ago, now in Culver City. To think that I drove more than a hundred miles to have a specific shop sell me a set of tires, and then shake, rattle and roll, like a Model A, all the way home... sheeeesh, what was I thinking?! My past experiences with WE, on the other hand, have all been excellent.
