Any fan blade & housing "finish" suggestions?

Presently have the alternator out, and am cleaning up fan blades & housing. Have been given a few suggestions as to how to "finish" it after cleaning. In descending order of expense: 1. have it powder-coated (which has elicited some comments re: the weight of the powder-coating and the balance of the fan blades) 2- have it bead-blasted and then teflon-ed 3- paint it with engine paint. I like the 'plain ole silver' look ( which, upon cleaning, is slooowly being restored via Brake-kleen & Scotchbrite pads), and instinct suggests that regardless of the finish process I select, it's still going to get dirty. Any other suggestions/considerations? Thank you in advance.

Here's something another Rennlist'r did:
I tried something different on the fan. Usually I powdercoat them - but this one I tried a new "cast" metal paint. It dries to a hard finish - and seems to hold up well so far. It is Plasti-Kote Cast Finish (#285 - Cast Gray).
Preparation is key - I degreased my fan/housing - then used a scotch-brite pad, then removed all the degreaser, oil, etc. Prep is critical. Also - the first two "LIGHT" coats look spoltchy, but the third goes on great. Be sure they dry between coats.... Once it hardens, be careful of chipping - but it is great stuff!!! It also resists oil, gas, petrochemicals and is rated at
500 degrees...

Bill,
Where did you buy this paint? And did you do anything to the fan/housing between coats? Sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! Once again - thank you!

John,
Don't know where the Rennlistr got their paint from. Plasti-Kote is pretty available, but you may need to call around. Their website is http://www.plastikote.com/plastikote/index.jsp . There's a contacts page, you might call them to find someone local that sells it.

Spider - thank you for doing the 'legwork'. Will try the local "Boys".
Bill - do you know if there was anything done between coats? I would think a light sanding w/ some 400 or higher grit paper would help adhesion/finish.
