You are, of course, correct, EXCEPT I said to remove the air filter and use a 'little' spry. Don't use starting fluid unless the air filter is sitting on the work bench.

Hi Oldtree...

Just to clarify for all . The airbox exploding has nothing to do with the air filter or cover. the airbox is between the throttle body and the runners and is actually a plasic intake manifold, it could easily explode regardless. Not trying to flame at all, just to educate. I meqn the things blow under normal circumstances , never mind with sprays .. :-)
