Default What is this rear bumper?

The car has an RSR front bumper but what is this rear bumper? Is it an original Porsche design or just an aftermarket item?

Many thanks,
Bryn.

It is aftermarket. I have the same bumper without the slots. I believe it is a Ruf style bumper. The slots were added I believe just to vent the heat from the muffler.
Here is a pic of one with similar bumper

When I say they were added I mean just the slots up on the bumper itself. The slots in the lower valance area come in the bumper.

Thanks for the info, this forum is incredible

Not sure whether I should put it back to standard as its a 1987 G50 3.2 and I'm not sure the bumper combo suits it??

Cheers,
Bryn.

I actually like the bumpers without the impact stuff. I think it looks much cleaner without it. It is your car though and you should do it the way you prefer it. It looks good to me as is.

Actually I just looked at some photos of the RUF CTR and I think my car would look great with some RUF 17" rims on it.

I love the rear bumper but a CTR front would be nice to match too.

Now where do I find some of them without trading a limb

Cheers,
Bryn.

Where are you located Bryn? You can get the fiberglass Ruf front bumper for around $350 US.
Not all that bad. I haven't changed my front bumper yet but that is probably what I will go with.
