Need help re: Convertible Top Mx
Hi,
I am a Porsche newbie. I recently bought a 2000 Carerra 4 Cabriolet. Several things need attention the first of which is a very slow operating Convertible top. I understand it is a hydraulic system.
Questions: 1) How do I explore the hydraulic system, to check if it is just low on hydraulic fluid. 2)If this is not the fix do I replace the motor(s)? 3)Anyone know of a schematic that can help me. 4) How difficult is it to disconnect the hydraulic system and go manual until I get it figured out?
Thanks,
Andy T

Andy, I'd imagine asking the newer / water-cooled 911 forums would get you more responses - we're in the air-cooled up-to-1989 area here. Good luck with your issue!
