Default DOOR STOP WELDING - OC CALIFORNIA
Just tried to replace the driver's side door stop on my 1972 911, when I discovered that the door stop attachment point had metal fatigued and broken out of the door. Now I need a very good Porsche body shop in Orange County, California, that has experience in fixing this king of problem on a cosmetically very nice car. While the car is in the shop, I'd also like to have the hood realigned. Any recommendations? Thanks guys.

I wouldn't trust anyone with that beauty. that being said have you ever been to www.europeancollectables.com in costa mesa? I was there last week and didn't want to go home...the sales managers name is Christopher Casler... It's where Red67(in Denmark) got his car. by the look of the work they have done and put in the show room I would think they could do that hinge.

I'm at a loss after that. They did have more 356's and longhoods than I have ever seen.

Though it's not in Orange County, Automotive Innovation and Restoration in Van Nuys is the place to go. Kevin is a "Porsche guy," and he'll take very good care of you.
