Default '01 cab plastic window seal

The rear window in my cab is in excellent condition, clean and clear. The top is in excellent condition as well. Unfotunately the seam between the window and the top is starting to come apart. I was told that it is somehow electrically fused and can't be repaired with any kind of adhesive. Does anyone have ideas short of replaceing the whole top, or worse taking it to the "dealer".

Doesn't anyone have some input for this issue?

My brother has the same trouble with his '00 Cab4 and plans to take it to an upholstery shop in Atlanta. His window is starting to fog along the bottom so he may get it replaced while they are fixing the small leak.

This seems smarter than replacing the entire top with a new one that is prone to th same problem. A new top
may be in order if he ever decides to sell, but this one looks fine for now.

Hope this helps and PM me if you want my brother's username.
