Question Miami area mechanics

Who would you recommend or not recommend for an engine rebuild in the Miami area?

AGREE, AND SECOND. Scott Finlay Motorsports is about as decent as it gets. The guy up the street, well, I don't know. Apparently his claim to fame was that he taught Scott everything he knows, and that he was the master mechanic at Brumos or something like that. I think you should go see both outfits, and get a feel for yourself. Progress Road, off US1 by S Miami Hospital. Vertex? See their ad? Monkey wrench, right?

I used to live in Miami and while there I only went to Scott Finlay. Great mechanic and all around great guy. He learned everything about Porsches from Bud Styles up the street, who I think retired, and from tinkering with Porsches during his teens. I think he has been driving 911s since he was 16 and still has his first 911 around, besides a bad *** 73 rsr. Scott is one of those guys where you can leave your car there and not worry about anything else getting damaged. Tell him I said Hello.
