Hi,
What is the correct way to measure the ride height. I have just had my 86 911 turbo body cab suspension 'tuned' and weights balanced but after a couple of days of driving it seems to have settled higher at the front. I am aware it should have one degree of attitued (down) towards the front, but would like to approach the suspension tuner with some facts.

I have the 82-83 turbo information here. The way Porsche defines ride height is the distance between the center of the torsion bar and the center of the wheel. For 82-83 turbo it's 94mm +/- 5mm (non-US) and 85mm +/- 5mm US, Canada, and Japan, with a max difference of 5mm between each side on the front. If you suspect one side has settled, and it's lower than the other side, take it back and ask him to put it back on the scales.

Mark,
The information is in the technical specification booklets that I'm told Porsche stopped printing, although independant suppliers should have them. The specs are also in the factory manual. In general, euro height on a 911 can be measured road to edge of fender lip as 25" in the rear and 25 1/2" in the front.

Thanks for your help so far.
These are my measurements ground to fender lip LF 26", RF 25.5". LR 24.5, RR 25.
This does not seem right to me with the variance from front to back changing from L-R.
Any comments.
