Thanks guys. Yeah (for the Aussies) the Talle Valley sure looks green! We have just returned to Brisbane and it is hot, dry, hazy, brown etc.
V8-ranch: these are the specs I have on it, supplied by Porsche Australia:
Color S2S2 Garnet red metallic
The colour is really hard to pin down - sometimes it looks a metallic burgundy, sometimes a faded, washed out velvet version of that colour - and sometimes almost brown!
Mik911: I am pretty sure the Carrera emblem is so low because the original owner (from whom I purchased it) didn't like whaletails and had it removed.
