Default Easiest upgrade yet - "new" shift ****

Had been looking a while for an AMCO black leather shift **** with the Porsche crest. Looked in vain and missed a few along the way. Finally fond one and it was brand "new" in the box (never used). I have had it a few weeks and finally took a few minutes to put it on tonight (between things)...

Yeah, I lucked out on both. The steering wheel came off of a 944, and I could not find the right hub, except for one place overseas that wanted $$. So I took my Dino hub and modified it to fit the Luisi wheel. Worked perfectly!

The **** turned out to be nicer than I was expecting as the crest button on top is all metal and looks like it was made the same way they make the car grille badges (baked enamels I think). Stand by for a new thread as I just spent the last 30 minutes (had to take a dinner break from a long day and "rest") installing a nice armrest that I got from a guy on Pelican that deigned and sold them for awhile. I got the last one I think. I like it.

Do you still have the original ****? If it's in good condition I'd be interested in having it.

Thanks, Roger B.

Yep, had one of those on my old 914 2.0...

Prolly still have it around here somewhere... can't find anything any more!

Looks great with the black trim!

I put an Abarth wheel and Ferrari shift **** on my Fiat Abarth replica. It is funny how such little things can make us so happy.
