The passenger side window is not working on my 87 911. I replaced to two switches on the drivers side door and it worked for a week or so but stopped.
I switched out switches to make sure that wasn't it and they both work fine in the drivers side position. Neither the drivers side or passenger side switch will operate the window.
I checked the fuse box just to see it they are on different fuses but I saw just one window fuse and it is good. I wasn't sure if has anything to do with it but I check the door switch and it turns the interior lights on and off fine.
Is there anything else I should look at before I tear into the door and see if it is the motor?
Thanks
Matthew

Wish I had something intelligent to say, but I have the same problem with both windows. Switches are all new and have current, but both windows are stuck in the up position.
This week I hope to get to the Renntag garage for a fix.
I once took the doors apart myself but couldn't get the motors out for fear that I'd break a window or never get them back on the right gear tooth again.

Did you try a good switch on the passenger door? Both the master switch and the passenger side have to be good for the window to work. If that doesn't work, might be pulling a door panel off and investigating further . . .
