The drain plug on the transmission won't budge......any suggestions on how to free plug ? It must have been over torque at dealership at last service. I had it on a lift and tried polite "loosening" techniques. Thanks !!!

The search button is your friend. Search here and on the Pelican board. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/forumdisplay.php?f=8. You'll find dozens of threads on what people of done in different situations to get their tranny fill and drain plugs removed.

If your allen socket won't fit it perfectly you'll have to use heavy duty removal techniques. Obviously be sure to loosen the fill plug first, and know that you can get it out in order to fill the trans after removing/replacing the drain plug. I've dealt with plugs so tight that a chisel had to be used to create two deep dents opposite each other, then use a heavy hammer and a flat-tipped punch to hit first one dent, then the other, until the plug starts to move. It's no fun, but can be done, good luck with it.

What are you using for removal?
I have a 17mm allen wrench that I attach a piece of steel pipe to for extra leverage. Try some PB Blaster too.
Here is a link that may help as well.
