strange window relay setup ?
Hi everyone, Last night all of my power windows stopped. I checked and changed the fuse ,hawever it still looked good, tightened it up ect. Its an 85 widebody. The relay set up (as per the cover shows no relay in #1 or 3 position. The number 3 should be the window relay. There is no window relay showing on the fuse box cover.Different than all my manuals show for 85?? Looking behind the gas guage there are two tall relays and one short round one on the right. Different than the manuals. Does anyone know where the relay could be?? thanks Doug

Yes I have the factory and Bentley, They all show the third relay as the power window for 85, but I dont have a third relay and It shows empty on the cover for the fusebox. There are no markings on the fuse box cover for a window relay?The 86 on shows the relay behind the gas guage but mine doesnt seem to be there either,as I have two square tall ones and one short round one on the right. The manual shows three tall square ones behind the gas guage for 86. With the one on the left as the window relay. Is it possible the widebody has some 930 different set up? Its unlikely???
