Default factory tool kit?

As I slowly go through my recent 1979 911SC purchase, I was cleaning out the trunk to find whats left of the factory tool kit. There is one tool with a "loop" on the end of it that I have no idea what it is for? Can some send a photo and or list what tools originally came with the car?

Also, the factory air compressor to inflate the compact spare is missing. I understand the original porsche compressors are expensive and hard to come by. What is a good substitute?

Finally, I don't have an ownes manual and the HVAC controls are a bit confusing. The car has factory air (not working). There is a box and control **** between the seats. What is that supposed to operate? I know the red ****** lever is the hot air control, yes? Thanks for the help!

Take a look at ths link, its a parts catalog for your car, first page shows the tool kit and describes each item. Good luck with your new wheels. GK.

Sorry, but the only thing I can help with is the tool with the "loop".
It's a towing hook.
It goes in the rear bumper on the left hand side. You have to take out a plastic plug to fit it. Does it have a spring on it too?

Also, I got a nice compact compressor at PepBoys with nylon case and hose that I carry in my car for around $50

I carry a Slime brand compressor (and tire repair kit) in the saddlebags of my motorcycle. Small, effective, and cheap ($32).

As far as HVAC, just put the three sliders on the dash right in the middle and forget about it.
