Here's regret #1: a 1968 911T with a S motor in it, the bumpers had been changed on the car 10 years earlier when it was redone but a beautiful stock interior, 2 fuchs with the car and a stack of books. The kicker the price tag was less than the value of a S motor on it's own

I was two hours drive from the car on business and had contacted the dealership who had it and had no idea what it was or what it was worth. I had the appointment set but business ran late and I couldn't make it over that day. It sold to the next guy in line with hours.

Regret #2 - a well know and respected car for sale by a great guy, ruby sleeper, an SC with a 3.6 Varioram motor. Business was bad last year and I just couldn't bring myself to keep two cars all winter. Of course as soon as it sold the guy who were sniffing at my car were ready to buy - grrrr

Regret #3 - 1973 911T Targa with a 3.2. When I bought my car (a 73 3.2 powered targa) this was the other car I was considering. The car I bought was 3000 miles closer and $5k less, even still I think this is the one I really wanted. A month after I bought mine I tried to resell it on eBay and get this one - my wife said "I knew you wanted that blue car!!!" for some reason she was grumpy at me . After I missed out on Ruby - see above - I figured if I had buyers for my car I'd pick this one up but it had sold in the years between for obvious reasons.

There you go a proper introduction to rennlist as a bozo. I've got to stop looking but it's a sickness.

I foolishly sold my beautiful white/blue 89 coupe a number of years ago here in NC. Wish I had never done it! If anyone knows of it's whereabouts I would love to know! Had a chance to rebuy it from a dealer in Greensboro, but passed. So stupid.
