Default ruf mono block wheels

Hi, folks

I was wondering has anyone just bought some of the new re-released ruf mono blocks(wheels).I have a 1983 sc and would love a set for it, but are they as good as the originals finish etc.
Please inform me on your findings.

Regards gaz

IS this what you are looking for?

my neighbor dumped them for some new Pimp-My-Ride crap. what an idiot...

he got $1,300 off as a trade in on a $6,000 purchase.

lets see:

Car $16,000
new top, carpet, sterio, amp, momo, wheels and tires, tune up, pop ups work, and some other stuff. let's say $25,000 total. it sits in the driveway rotting under a canvas tarp in his driveway. Moron in the first degree

Default pimp my wheels

Hi,

The wheels which I need are the 7"&9"wide by 17"diameter wheels. The car in the photo is a widebody so it has the 8 & 10's on it, but they are the mono blocks, but that cars wheels have been polished to death. The original finish for the wheels should be silver centre and anodised lip(edge).
The wheels are also know as ruf ctr wheels or yellow bird wheels.I just fancy a change of wheels as the fuch's I have on the car at present are off a 930 turbo 5-speed and are a great improvement over 6&7's but I have always wanted a set of ruf's.
I rang RUF in Germany about four years ago trying to buy a set and they informed me that they where discontinued, but hey while looking through the net I have found there making them again.

Default ruf

Douglas, get some on the cab man .I have had 10" wheels on the back of a 1981 sc about ten years ago, but god it was a very tight fit, about 5mm clearence to the trailing suspension arms on the rear ,and I had to put turbo bilstiens on so she didn't foul the arches(fenders).

Regards Gaz
