I am looking for the window lifter rail for the passenger side door of a 1980SC Tagra. I believe the part number ( from PET) is 911-542-058-40. I looked it up at Pelican, but they say the part has been updated to 911-542-058-42. Initially Pelican said the lifter was $36.00 but the replacement part says $270.00....OUCH...
Also, how do you get the lifter out or do I need to remove the whole assembly. The Bentley seems to say that the lifter just slides out somehow. Any help is greatly appreciated..

Ralph -
I think I mentioned in the last thread, that the parallel arms are no longer available, and you have to convert to the cross-arm style, which (as I understand it) requires everything to come out & little bit of serious conversion work (new holes drilled in the doors, etc.).
Hope you find what you're looking for though.
