3M makes an Adhesive Remover.

That stuff, plus a load of patience usually does the job.

I've used Goo-Gone to remove 3M weatherstrip adhesive.

I've used thinners to remove that type of glue, but it does eat cheap paint. I'm guessing your stickless coupe doesn't have cheap paint!

I'm sorry Ice, but every time I see your avatar now I see a wedding photo of a bride and groom knowing that one of them is dead.

Funny uou should mention that , I was at a get together on Saturday and some guy asked me to look at his engine, I lifted the lid and sure enough it fell back down .... the guy said to me ... i have heard about you .. your the hockey stick guy from Rennlist... sorry to hear about your loss....

too funny .....

oh bythe way i ended up using turpentine and a Q tip . As Steve said I just used lots of patience, it eventually softened to a tack substance and it lifted away with my fingernail. I still had some sticky residue so i washed it down with water and used some fine scratch remover, cleaned it up great and I rewaxed.. now that spot is smoother and looks better than the rest of the car ...
