Default Need Help / Info to Replace Fuel Line!

Things could be worse, the car could have turned into a fireball today. I noticed strong fuel odor in the cabin this morning, and after completing my commute to work I investigated the engine compartment to attempt to find the source. It was pretty obvious, the fuel line that attaches to the fuel rail closest to the rear on the driver's side was leaking profusely. I actually managed to get a fuel line in the same day (it set me back $413.00 with taxes) and have realized that you can't just replace the piece that is leaking, but rather the whole line that attaches to the fuel rails on the drivers and passengers sides / it also has part of the line that goes toward the front of the car and hooks back to the drivers side. If anyone has any info or links to info with regard to replacement of this line, torque specs for the fittings, etc I would much appreciate it. I've just gotten the car back from having monoballs fitted and the suspension reset and am not enthused about being without it again. I work for a car dealership service department (unfortunately not one that specializes in Porsche) and I am trying to decide whether one of my better techs here could do this or if I should book time to get this done by my Porsche specialist (the latter option will kill me for time though). Any info or insight would be quite helpful! Thanks!

I will assume that you drive a 3.2 Carrera. If yes, you must remove the intake manifold to replace the line, and a second line (930 110 411 99) that you will see, once the manifold is off, should also be replaced. You'll need intake gaskets, etc. Make sure that you check the fuel mixture after you're done, it can change with the new gaskets.

Thanks for the info. I've decided to have the car towed to my specialist (best not to tempt the fates more than once). This is probably best left to a Porsche specialist since the CO must be reset and the manifold removed (gasket replaced). It stinks to lose the car again, but things could be much worse!
