The most immediate concern is the quality / durability of the repair. If it was done several years ago and remains almost undetectable (i.e., paint is still fine, no bubbles cropping up, no clear coat peeling, no clearcoat lifting at the edges of the repair (i.e., in the door frame), etc.), then it's probably fine for the purposes of using and enjoying the car. If the car was otherwise all original and concours, perhaps there is a 10-20% dimunition in value. If not and the repair is nearly undetectable (i.e., it's basically a nice used car), the impact should be pretty limited. Of course, I wouldn't hesitate to use it as leverage in negotiations...
