Post Size of rear torsion bar for '69 911.

Is 26mm worthwhile getting for my '69? I was told earlier that would be the way to go along with 22mm sway bars?
I want to improve the handling of the car. But if I need to use something, as a local shop said.....30mm's. Then I don't want to spend money twice to get it right.
Thanks!

21/26 and 21/27 are popular TB combinations for your '69. Unless you're planning some high speed events, 30s might be a little too much on the street. I suggest the larger torsion bars will show more handling improvement than large sway bars. Do both (shocks too) if you have the chance.
