Default Windsheild Trim

Can you remove the windsheild trim without removing the glass or bending it.

No. That stuff is extremely delicate and you will wind up bending it if you try to remove it. The safest way to remove windshield trim is by acknowledging that you cannot save the rubber so you have to cut it apart. Then the trim is intact. You have to use a bunch of ru-glide (rubber lublicant) to reinstall that stuff. Once you bend it,--you're in trouble.

Thanks for the replies. I wanted to have it repainted or reanodized. I guess when it is time to get a new windshield it will be perfect timing!

Just recently replaced the window seal and painted the trim ad reinstalled it.....took two people and about an hour of fighting with the trim and seal. If your seal is ok...paint it on the car!!!
