Door vapor barrier
I made my first foray into the innards of my 87 Carrera to repair a shattered ball cup in the door lock mechanism. I ordered a shiny new vapor barrier to replace the semi-non existent old one. What do you all recommend for an adhesive to attach the barrier to the door?

Brent, how's the car? are you still the coolest dad on the planet?
I have not yet removed or replaced my door panels, but when "Pimp My Ride" did my speakers, they just reused the sticky that was on the door. it should stay in place with the screws that hold the panel.
did you see my "san diego weekend" post?

i like to use 3m general purpose spray adhesive which matches what porsche uses you can get it at a napa or auto body supp. store . or you could use contact cement and apply it with a brush .

Got it done tonight. I get a B- for the job. I took some digital pics of the wires on the window switches but when I looked at the pics tonight they were only good enough for me to have the passenger window roll up when the toggle is pressed down.
