I did the job myself with OEM lines without dropping the engine and although not easy, it was possible. Get the air flow meter and rubber piece off the top of the manifold and just go real slow and careful. While in there it's a great time to replace the top oil thermostat o-ring seal with a green one as a relatively cheap piece of prevention, as it is a classic oil leak location. Also a great time to upgrade the head temp sensor to the newer two-wire version as the port through the firewall is then exposed. After reassembly have CO reset. I swore it felt like I gained 15 hp after that.
