the car is copper brown metalic and has been resprayed but it was a while ago. The wheels are in fact 17" cup wheels that I got from tire Rack. They do not "tuck under " the way I would like and I do not believe in rolling fenders so I have to be carefull with it .. and obiously no lowering. The Job tooak about 6 hours to do but it was raining an I spent a realxing day in the garage.. but I don't drink and buff :-).. that PC can get away from you in a hurry if you are polishing under the influence and all kinds of carnage can result ... I wonder if my car one day had a polished Targa bar but it looks like I will never know.
I am done with detaiing for a while now .. think I will just drive her for a while
Mike I cleared my mail list , thanks for the reminder. ...

Iceman,
You missed a spot on the lower left corner next to the tailight...
Just kidding
My brother use to have a 77 Targa in Copper Brown Metallic.
He owned it from 1978 through 1990 and the only reason he kept is so long is that he used to own his own Porsche shop to tackle the annual teardown to fix the leaks on the 2.7.
