Default FYI: Ebay Cat Bypass...

I bought a catbypass on ebay by a company that sells cat bypass pipes. I don't like to mention names, so I won't. However, the bypass looks similar to Fabspeed's bypass. I seems to be made well, but the resonator section is nothing but a straight through pipe. No perforated walls with packing to help reduce noise. It is basically a double wall test pipe.

The person was very helpfull and took it back no problem. "Looks can be deceiving" was very true in this case.

If someone is looking for a test pipe, then this could be a good choice. But if you are looking for a euro pre-muffler type of bypass, then this is not it.

Just thought this might help some people looking to buy a bypass.

FWIW - I have had the Fabspeed unit on my '89 3.2L for almost a year and have been satisfied with it.
